DescriptionA series of invitation races for Pre-1966 GT Cars and Pre-1963 Sportscars to Appendix K.
The elegant era of the 1960s GT cars, encompassing the great icons from Aston Martin, Ferrari, Cobra, Corvette, Healeys and Jaguar pitting their wits against the small and nimble pre-63 races such as Lotus 11s and 17s.
Cars must be of a type which competed in the World Endurance Championship in period, and once on track, drivers are rewarded with some great endurance racing at prestigious circuits across Europe. Gentleman Drivers is always run on period Dunlop treaded tyres, over a number of classes in a '2 driver with pit stop' format.
The 2008 Season offers races at Mugello, Donington, Brands Hatch, Anderstorp, Silverstone, Nurburgring, Magny Cours, Spa and a season finale to be confirmed, plus a POWERnights event!
